USING SCHOOLNOTES.COM

Go to www.Schoolnotes.com

On the home page, there is a note to teachers. Click on "First Time registration."

Fill out form and click on CONTINUE. Remember your login name and password.

Choose Clayville as your school. Click CONTINUE.

Check your information and click on Continue

Fill out next form. Note that our web address is

www.scituateri.net/clayville Click on Continue.

Submit registration information.

IMPORTANT: Write down your web address and email it or give it to Heidi Allen so she can create a link from the Clayville site to your School notes.

To put in information

Choose Edit Notes. Log in.

Type or copy and paste text.

Put in password and save text.

Anytime you want to add to your page, just go into Schoolnotes.com and click on Edit Notes.

Students and parents can access your page either through schoolnotes.com or through the Clayville web site under class webs.

 

How to save Student Work

The easiest way to save student work is to use the network. Every class and all the students have a folder for their work.

  1. While in Word or PowerPoint, choose File, Save As
  2. Click the arrow next to the "Save In" section
  3. Double click on "Clayprograms on Clayri (P:)"
  4. Double click on "Class work – Enter here".
  5. Double click on your class and then double click on the student name.
  6. Click Save

 

How to put student work on a web page

  1. Open FrontPage. Double click on Classwebs and the teacher name.
  2. Open the student work page or create a new page and save as Student Work.
  3. Click on the Insert menu and choose File.
  4. Click the arrow next to the "Look In" section
  5. Click on "Clayprograms on Clayri (P:)"
  6. Double click on "Class work – Enter here".
  7. Double click on your class
  8. Double click on the student name
  9. Single click on the file you want. If the file doesn’t appear, in the "Files of Type" section, change it to "All Files"
  10. Click "Open"
  11. If it asks about a converter, click "no".
  12. Save the Student Work page.
  13. Close FrontPage
