Wave your magic hand over each picture and send the picture back in time 100 years.

A hundred years ago kids went to a one-room schoolhouse in what is now the Clayville post office.

Would you like being in a class of 52 students with only one teacher?

The Clayville mill store was much smaller than our stores today.

Would you rather travel by horse and wagon?

One hundred years ago, there were no school buses.  People walked or took trolleys that went through Clayville all the way to Providence.  The ride cost 25 cents.

Special thanks for the digital photos of old Clayville to Johanna Sparling and the Clayville Heritage Association
